ROCKSCHOOL PIANO - In 2019 RSL Awards released their latest Piano Graded Exam Syllabus, a progressive approach to learning skills for contemporary popular performance. Following requests from teachers and students RSL Awards have created The Rockschool Piano Method books to prepare students for the graded exams.
Book 1 takes readers from the initial approaches to playing piano through to performing their first pieces with both left and right hands. Book 2 advances these skills so that by the middle of the book readers are prepared to take a Rockschool Debut Piano exam, and by the end of the book readers should be proficient enough to enter Grade 1. The new Method books include: 10 benchmarked topics to work through, prepares students to take Rockschool Piano Debut and Grade 1, has newly composed exercises, games and pieces, teacher parts to accompany student pieces, includes professionally recorded backing tracks, contemporary music styles, success stickers to encourage progression through the book, a modern and colourful design and is wire-bound for use on music stands.
