The Northstar Pro NSP1-CB steps up from the entry-level range with a few upgrades. It has a solid poplar double-cutaway body and a torrefied maple neck with a Roseacer skunkstripe. Torrefied maple (roasted for stability) gives a fast, played-in feel straight out of the box. Two ceramic humbuckers give it plenty of punch and clarity, so it handles rock, alternative and heavier tones as well as cleaner sounds. The Cadillac Blue gloss finish adds a retro touch.
