The BAR6H brings genuine vintage character to Bromo's Rocky Mountain Series, built around an all-solid body with a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides. The smaller parlour body and narrower waist push the tone toward the midrange, giving it a warm, articulate voice that fingerstyle players and blues players in particular tend to gravitate toward. Patented ToneFlow bracing adds extra resonance and sustain on top of the naturally lively parlour tone.
Where this one really sets itself apart is the 12th fret neck join — a traditional design that shortens the overall scale length slightly, making certain bass notes and chord voicings noticeably easier to reach. It's a playing feel a lot of players find more comfortable over long sessions, and it suits the vintage-inspired aesthetic of the rest of the guitar. Under the hood, a robust 5-ply neck (three pieces of mahogany, two of Amara ebony) delivers real strength and stability, finished with a Low Oval profile that favours comfort and a firm grip.
The vintage look continues through antique brass "Bromo" machine heads and a satin (or matte) finish, with an Amara ebony fingerboard, bridge, and Mt. Bromo mother-of-pearl headstock inlay tying it back to the rest of the range.
Perfect for: fingerstyle and blues players after a smaller, vintage-voiced guitar, and anyone who wants the comfort of a 12-fret parlour body with genuine all-solid tonewoods.
