Suitable for all ages and abilities, our drum lessons teach drum note readings, rhythm and proper technique so you can become an exceptional drummer. Whether you’re hoping to be an accompanist for a rock, funk, jazz, orchestra band or play in any capacity, we can train you to gain the right foundation and build on your skills to help you reach your desired level. At Ron Leigh’s Music Factory, we have partnered with Rockschool & AMEB to deliver our students an internationally recognised qualification. By incorporating the Rockschool syllabus into our teaching structure, our students gain a deeper understanding of their instrument, as well as an opportunity to perform. Rockschool is regarded as a leading music syllabus globally and we are proud to be one of the largest providers of the program in Australia, as well as a major music exam centre. Fully supported by the AMEB (Australian Music Examination Board), Rockschool provides a framework for all abilities so you can truly master the drums.
All music lessons are conducted in store at Ron Leigh’s Music Factory. Lessons are available Monday to Friday from midday until 9pm and on Saturdays from 9am until 4pm. Our lessons are 30 mins in duration and the current investment is $140 for a course of 4 weeks. In fairness to both student and teacher, we ask for the commitment of 4 weeks, as we have found this to be the minimum time required for both teacher and student to “get-to-know” one another and determine if the desired progress is being made.
